Kis-Toth Cards
Kis-Toth Cards feature all the best West Coast and Canadian Photography from my collection of images. Being a photographer, backpacker, and conservationist, I'm always aware of my impact on the world. In the development of Kis-Toth Cards, I have used cardstocks and papers with high post-consumer recycled fiber, produced by manufacturers who are also aware of their affect on the world. The Cardstock that makes up the bulk of the cards is produced carbon neutral. The power used for productions comes from 100% sustainable, renewable and emission-free wind power.
A Kis-Toth Card consists of a photographic print fixed to textured, carbon neutral card stock. The colour of the card stock is chosen to enhance the image much like the matting on a framed art print. Quality and uniqueness are both major elements of our design. Our cards convey a feeling of quality and originality. You won’t find anything like them anywhere. Even the included envelope is unique. It is made from grocery bag material and it goes perfectly with the feeling of the cards.
Environmental Commitment
The card stock is carbon neutral and 60% recycled (it is produced in a paper mill that offsets is carbon emissions through the purchase of wind energy). The included envelope looks and feels like a grocery bag and is made from 100% recycled fiber (20% post consumer). The printing process is entirely digital which eliminates the toxic chemicals which are used for traditional offset and photographic printing. They are hand-assembled locally here on Vancouver Island.
We hope that by reminding people of the beauty of the Canadian Landscape they will act in a manner that will help preserve our endangered and threatened spaces.
